College Life in Baton Rouge
None of the above is terribly surprising when you understand the culture and history of this beautiful, resilient city. For starters, Hurricanes Katrina and Rita failed to inflict substantial damage in this part of Louisiana. Second, Baton Rouge has weathered tremendous change over the decades. Time and time again, it has clearly demonstrated its indefatigable spirit.
No matter what campus or degree program you decide to pursue, expect your college experience to be infused with tremendous vibrancy. For despite Louisiana's reputation for easy-going lifestyles, Baton Rouge is not a city that likes to stay still for very long. The music, culture, food, locals, and nightlife have a way of drawing people in and not letting go.
